High School Building Project

Colegio Roosevelt is excited to be ready for this next important project within the Master Facility Plan. The high School facility is the oldest facility on campus, and though historically it is a special place for generations of Condors, we believe it is important to ensure our campus facilities collectively and comprehensively support instructional excellence, innovative curriculum, and student centered environments that are signatures at Colegio Roosevelt. The new facility will not only align our campus infrastructure, but will provide the academic departments with opportunities to collaborate and integrate while adding additional hubs and meeting spaces, and provide additional green spaces to an already green and expansive campus. The new High School Building will be a enter of excellence for all students, faculty, families, and alumni, and will not only be a model of excellence for education in Peru, but will serve as a model of excellence in Latin America for American international schools.

High School Groundbreaking Ceremony

On December 3, we celebrated Founders Day with an all school Community Day—and marked a historic moment with the groundbreaking ceremony for our new High School building. The event took place during Community Day, where our entire community came together to honor our history and look ahead to the future.

It was a deeply emotional and meaningful celebration. The speeches delivered by James Cunningham, alumnus and Instituto member (read James Cunningham's speech here), and Carmen Rivera, our beloved High School Assistant who has been part of our staff for 48 years (read Carmen Rivera's speech here), were filled with memories and reflections that beautifully connected our school’s past to this milestone anniversary.

Students also took the stage, sharing their voices and marking this moment with pride and excitement. Below, you’ll find selected quotes from our students, capturing the spirit and significance of this special day!

We are reminded of all the memories that have been built within these wall, everything from laughter, learning, teamwork and countless memories that make this school more than just a place but a second home.Monica HS Student

My hope for the new high school is that it will be a place of lots of learning and kindness.
