Condor Athletics & Activities
Our Athletics program aids our students' physical development by improving their coordination and developing their skills in a variety of sports, as well as helps students learn to work as a team.
Elementary School students take part in many exciting sports events throughout the academic year and have the opportunity to join a variety of sporting after-school activities. After-School Activities also known as ASA are exploratory opportunities offered to students Grades 1-5. They can partake in activities that range from Arts & Crafts to Jiu Jitsu. Artistic Grooves allows Elementary students the opportunity to engage in arts and music in classes such as Artistic Grooves Musical Theater, ES Instrumental Ensemble and Modern Dance Team. Elementary students are also welcome to join Condor Athletics Teams that are more competitive in nature.
Middle School and High School students have the opportunity to take up sports and activities (Condor Athletics & Activities Team) they have not tried before and develop their skills. Regardless of their ability, students who train with a sports team are given the opportunity to compete against other schools in Lima including tournaments like ADCA and ADECORE. They also have the opportunity to participate in a number of prestigious sporting events against international schools from across South America and have the opportunity to travel with their team to compete. Roosevelt hosts a number of these large-scale sporting competitions, including the South American Activities Conference (SAAC). Students who join an activity such as MUN or Debate, also get the opportunity to compete in local events.
