Privacy Policy Alumni
1. GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
INSTITUTO EDUCACIONAL FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT (“Colegio Roosevelt”) respects and complies with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law and its Regulations - Supreme Decree N° 016-2024-MINJUS (hereinafter and jointly, “the Personal Data Protection Regulations”).
These rules will apply to the processing of personal data through the Colegio Roosevelt Alumni Association (hereinafter, the “Alumni Association”), which aims to connect members of the Colegio Roosevelt community.
In application of the Personal Data Protection Regulations, Colegio Roosevelt will consider that the alumni who participate in the registration process of the Alumni Association have given their respective consent for the processing of their personal data by clicking the “register,” “accept,” “send,” or any other similar button that appears before submitting their data.
In that understanding, alumni are informed that their personal data will be stored in the “Alumni” database (Code 11120) owned by Colegio Roosevelt located at Av. Las Palmeras N° 325, La Molina, Lima.
2. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING AND STORAGE TIME
Colegio Roosevelt will process your information for the purpose of carrying out verification tasks in the registration process to the Alumni Association, connecting with members of the community, and making electronic purchases through this site. Your agreement with this Privacy Policy will authorize Colegio Roosevelt to store personal information for the fulfillment of the purposes described for the time during which the alumnus is part of the association and for a maximum period of 30 days after their disaffiliation.
3. ENTRUSTMENTS AND TRANSFERS
Colegio Roosevelt has adopted the necessary technical security measures to protect your personal data and to prevent access by unauthorized third parties.
Access to your personal information will be restricted to duly authorized Colegio Roosevelt personnel.

4. EXERCISE OF ARCO RIGHTS
In your capacity as the holder of personal data, you have the right to revoke your consent and/or exercise any of the rights that the Personal Data Protection Regulations recognize in your favor (right of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition and portability, among others) at any time and free of charge. For these purposes, you have any of the following options available:
· Send a simple letter to the address of Colegio Roosevelt indicated in the introductory part of this Privacy Policy addressed to Mr. Hernán Carrasco, with the reference “Mis Datos Personales” (My Personal Data).
· Send an electronic communication to hcarrasco@amersol.edu.pe; or
· Use any of the forms for the exercise of ARCO rights that you will find available at the entrance doors to our establishment.
5. PARTICIPATION OF MINORS
To participate in the registration process, alumni under the age of majority must have the authorization of their parents or guardians. If they provide their personal information directly, they must indicate the contact information of their parents or legal guardians so that Colegio Roosevelt can verify the consent granted.
6. MODIFICATION OF THE PRIVACY POLICY
Colegio Roosevelt reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time; therefore, we suggest that you review it periodically. However, if for any reason, we assume greater powers for the processing of your personal data, we will request your consent again.
7. NATURE OF CONSENT
Authorizing the processing of personal data in the terms indicated in this Privacy Policy is optional. However, if you do not authorize the processing of your data, Colegio Roosevelt will not be able to perform verification tasks in the registration process to the Alumni Association, you will not be able to connect with members of the community and make electronic purchases through this site.
