I. GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
The INSTITUTO EDUCACIONAL FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT ("Roosevelt School") respects and complies with the Peruvian law of Protection of Personal Data and its regulations (hereinafter, the "Regulation of Personal Data").
II. CONSENT TO USE OF INFORMATION
In compliance with the Regulation of Personal Data, Roosevelt School will consider that users of the “Book of Complaints” have adequately provided their consent to the processing of their personal data when they agree and chose to "click", “mark”, "accent", "touch", "pad" or similar when they are asked for their consent and acceptance of these terms.
Under 18 years old users must have the authorization of their parents or legal guardians for the registration of its personal information. In case they provide their personal data, they shall also provide contact information of their parents or guardians to verify the consent.
III. DATA BASE
The personal data that Roosevelt School collects through the Book of Complaints will be stored in the data base called "Web Contacts" owned by the Roosevelt School, domiciled at Av. Palmeras 325, La Molina, Lima.
Roosevelt School process the personal data to answer the claims or complaints registered in our Book of Complaints.
Access to the personal information provided will be restricted only to authorized Colegio Roosevelt’s staff. However, the information collected will be transferred to public entities such INDECOPI, the Department of Justice or de Judiciary when is required or needed in the context of legal proceedings.
In the case of our Virtual Book of Complaints, the personal information will be transfer to Finalsite, company that provides us the management services web site, whose server is located in the United States of America.
VI. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONSENT
Roosevelt School has adopted the technical, organizational, and legal measures established by the Regulation of Personal Data to protect the personal information received through the Book of Complaints. We will maintain the confidentiality of the personal information even after answering the claims and complaints, and prevent access by unauthorized third parties.
If the personal information is transferred abroad, we will ensure that the recipient country maintains adequate levels of protection. When this is not possible, we will guarantee that the processing of the personal information complies with the Regulation of Personal Data.
VIII. TIME OF CONSERVATION
We will retain the personal information for a maximum period of 02 years since the personal information was registered in our Book of Complaints.
IX. RIGHTS OF THE HOLDER OF PERSONAL DATA
The holders of personal data may revoke, at any time and free of charge, this authorization and exercise the rights recognized in the Regulation of Personal Data (right of access, right of rectification, right of cancellation, and right of opposition, among others).
For these purposes, it is sufficient to do any of the following:
- To send an electronic communication to firstname.lastname@example.org; or
- To use any of the forms for the exercise of the right ARCO available at the gates of entry to our establishment.
