Peer Group Connection

The Colegio Roosevelt Peer Group Connection (PGC) program is coordinated through the guidance office. PGC is a peer mentoring program designed for incoming ninth grade students that are making the transition to High School. It is offered during the first semester.

Some of the goals of the PGC program are:

  • To create a school climate which promotes mutual respect, collaboration and effective relationships
  • To learn how to solve problems more effectively and make healthy decisions
  • To develop confidence and the skills to be successful, personally and academically
  • To become more supportive and appreciative of others and more respectful of differences
