 MS Spanish Play:

The play has been rescheduled for Thursday and Friday evenings. Please plan to arrive early as it will be necessary to go through a bag check at the entrance.  Our students have been working hard all semester on this production and we are pleased that we are able to reschedule it.

CONGRATULATIONS:  I would, once again, like to forward to you that I was very pleased with the attitude and cooperation of the middle school students during our recent security situation. It was obvious that the students trust their teachers to tell them what to do in unexpected events. Please watch for emails from Dr. Kluznik with whatever information is available on the status of the situation and security measures on campus.

REMIND YOUR CHILDREN: On Tuesday in our Middle School assembly I updated students as much as I could and reminded them that they needed to put extra thought into the things they say and do. This is not a time to joke around about the situation or use insulting or crude language in MSN, facebook, emails or in person.  They should not enter the accounts or webpages of others as this is against the Acceptable Use Policy they have signed. Please help them understand this. Getting onto campus at the moment is similar to going through security at an airport in terms of appropriate behavior and attitude.

THE POOL: The pool is now ready for student use. We are working on a schedule to allow each student the opportunity to be in the pool at least once before we leave for break. We will give students more information as we know it on when they should bring a swimsuit, towel, cap, goggles, and flip flops for their first dip in the pool.

MOVING TO A NEW COUNTRY/SCHOOL IN DECEMBER?  Please contact Nora Marquez to initiate the withdrawal process.  First semester reports and transcripts will not be ready until the last day of school, December 21st at noon.  Previous records will be copied and ready as long as we have the withdrawal form by the previous Friday.

OUTSTANDING OBLIGATIONS: Students who have overdue library books, textbooks not turned in, school musical instruments, or team uniforms will NOT receive report cards on December 21st. they will instead receive a letter saying what the outstanding obligation is.  The Middle School Office will not be open to distribute report cards until January 7th.  Please encourage your child to clear all obligations early.
