Middle School Update

CALENDAR:

ASSESSMENT: The IB 1-7 grades are no longer visible on Power School. You can click on “SEE” to view all of the assignments for the semester including the criteria grades assigned to determine the interim report. What you would like to see now is that student summative grades in each criteria are the same as this or going up as time goes on.  Some criteria, in some subjects, will be assessed for the first time in the next two months.

YAUYOS - Here are some photos showing the classrooms Middle School Sponsored Run money built in the south for students whose school was damaged by the earthquake.  Space was set aside in the soccer stadium for the eight temporary classrooms to be built.  The students there are very appreciative.

Here is the text of the thank you letter we received:

“Dear Ms. Holladay,

Big is our gratitude! God heard our prayers! You gave us a hand without knowing us. We learned that your students, teachers and administrative personnel put money together, sol by sol and made a total of 3,356 soles to donate  to our “Institución Educativa # 20717 de Cusi” building material for a school for our children. We feel really touched and deeply grateful.

We would really appreciate if you give our thanks to your students and let them know that our students admire them for their generosity and wish them happiness in their lives.

Finally, Ms. Holladay, thank you very much for your support and for making our request come true.
