CALENDAR:

SPONSORED RUN: The Sponsored Run, our annual major fund raiser for middle school community service, will be on Wednesday. Please be certain that students get a good night’s rest the night before and that they eat a healthy breakfast.  They also need to bring a water bottle, a hat, and sunblock. They should come to school that day in PE uniform, not regular uniform.

BOOK FAIR:  Most students will be going to the Book Fair during English class on Monday. If they find books that they want they will have to pay for them that day. On Monday they may NOT reserve books to be paid for later.  They may return to the Book Fair at lunch on other days. 

NAMES IN CLOTHING:  We are starting our semi-annual campaign to check clothing for names.  Please put your child’s name into clothing, especially PE clothes and jackets and vests.  Please do so as well in the lunch boxes. We will begin checking beginning the first week of October.  It is not acceptable for a student to borrow someone else’s PE clothes without asking first. If PE teachers find students wearing clothing with someone else’s name in it it will be investigated as possible theft.  Please help us out by getting names in clothing. Thank you.

MS FIELD HOCKEY – FESTIVAL

The Sub-13 (born in 94/95) Boys’ Field Hockey team will be participating in a Festival at San Silvestre this Saturday, Sept. 16.

TRACK AND FIELD – ADCA Championship

ADCA TRACK and FIELD meet for kids born in 1988-1993 will take place this Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 20 and 21.  (Please note that Sept. 21 is an FDR holiday.)

MEDIANOS (91-93) BOYS SOCCER – ADCA Championship

MENORES (94-95) GIRLS VOLLEYBALL—Copa Markham

Please note that all games take place at the Miraflores campus of Colegio Markham (Calle Augusto Angulo 291, San Antonio—behind Wong on Av. Benavides).

Please provide transportation directly to and from the games.
