IT IS A BUSY TIME OF YEAR, I have indicated in the calendar above the various meetings and concerts which will occur over the next six weeks. We will give more information as the events draw closer, but please mark your calendars. As you can see, we will be having presentations about Internet Safety. The presenter will be from Microsoft and will give an accurate picture of what the dangers are that our students face when they go online and what parents can do to help protect their children.
OUR STUDENTS IN BODO, NORWAY! - The Kondortech team with students from middle school and high school are in Norway from the 16th to the 21st of May along with their coach Ms. Gaby and Ms. Holladay to participate in the First Lego League European Open Championship. Visit our teams page to get updated news about this event http://www.amersol.edu.pe/ms/electives/lego/fll/bodo.asp

CoFo PRESENTATIONS ARE HERE: Our 8th grade CoFo groups will be giving their presentations to share the work they have done in the past 11 weeks. Parents of 8th graders are encouraged to attend these presentations. There is a timetable and no one is admitted to the Little Theater once a presentation has begun, so please be on time. Our students have much to share about what they have done and how it has impacted them and others. Eighth graders should only be at school on the day of their presentation and must be in the Little Theater from 8:00 – 3:30 pm.
REC NIGHT MAY 25th is different than normal. Students in grades 5-7 MUST be picked up at 9:30, the rest of the evening is for grade 8 only.
THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL IS JUNE 28TH. If you are moving and want records for the student’s new school, please fill out a withdrawal form. Records will be given to students on June 28th. We are not able to give them out sooner since we have to wait for all grades to be in. Books and materials must be returned to the Media Center by June 12th. Textbooks are due by June 22nd. Students who do not turn in Media Center materials will have their access to PowerSchool denied on June 15th. Students who do not have textbooks in by June 22nd will have their access denied. Students will receive report cards on June 28th. If they have books or materials outstanding or owe fines to the Media Center the report card will be held. Report cards not picked up on June 28th may be picked up in the Middle School Office. School Offices will be closed July 4-15.
7TH GRADE PARENTS: You will be receiving a form from the nurse in your child’s Monday envelope. Please fill out all information correctly and send the form back to school promptly with the signed Monday envelope.
