After School Activities and Athletics

Our program's goal is to provide a safe, engaging environment for children to explore and enjoy their favorite activities. For the past several years, FDR Middle School has been able to offer a wide variety of after school activities.
Our program runs from 3:45 - 5:15 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (please see table below for exceptions). There is a limited 5:30 bus service available, but parents must contact the transport office to arrange for the closest drop-off point to your home.

UPCOMING NEWS FLASH!!
NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL ACTIVITIES for 2nd Semester begin the week of March 9! Check out the options below. A Sign-up Sheet will go home in the Monday Envelope on March 2--must be handed in to Ms. Alba by Wednesday, March 4.
Below, you will find the list of the Middle School After-school Activities for this semester. Please show up for the activities of your choice, keeping the following in mind:
- Attendance will be taken at all practices. You are expected to attend all sessions of the activity. More than 2 unexcused absences will result in your removal from the activity.
- You must organize your other commitments in such a way that you are able to attend all sessions. Please pay attention to times.
- If after the first 2 meetings of an activity, you decide that you have made the wrong choice, inform the activity leader. You may arrange for a transfer to another activity with Ms. Alba.
- Activities start the week of March 9.
- There will no charge for any activities this semester. (We may need to charge in the future.)
