After we talked to the Municipality and the schools, and having sustainability in mind, we created a solution statement. It says: “we will address the issue of electrical safety in La Molina by constructing groundings in three schools and teaching the community about electrical safety. In addition, we will enable the Municipality donating an electrometer, a book about groundings and volunteer engineers will teach workers of the Municipality how to use the electrometer and construct groundings.” Lastly, we will create an agreement between the Municipality and a grounding company for sustainability.

         We decided to work with three schools called Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, Virgen del Carmen and Oscar Eduardo Bravo Ratto. We based our decision on the younger ages and cheapest cost of the grounding.  We chose this solution because the price of the three groundings was in the range of our budget and teaching the kids in the schools was simple.  Additionally, we had all the resources to enable the Municipality to continue the project.
