Throughout the process of working in CoFo we didn’t only follow the design cycle, but most importantly we learned about the community that surrounds us and we got to know ourselves better. It was rewarding not only for the children, teachers, principals of the schools and the people in the Municipality, but it was deeply gratifying for us four. We now know each other better and we have learned how to work in a team in a better way and to have a stronger result we have understood that it’s vital to listen to each others ideas and try to include them. We have learned how the Peruvian society works, if you want something done you have to do it yourself and always check twice. Most importantly, we have seen how privileged we are, that we don’t have to go home to a place where we constantly have to worry about electricity harming us. Lastly, we have grown as individuals and now we are better persons, because we have realized that we can make a difference, doing something small or huge, but most significantly putting in time, effort and will. This was a great experience.
