At first, CoFo was just another school project in which we had to work very hard to get a good score. However, we soon realized that it was not about us or getting a good grade but about our site and helping it. CoFo has been one of the greatest experiences in our lives and has taught us what some people never learn: that life does not treat everyone as well as it has treated us and that people like us who have more than enough resources should help them. Many people had told us CoFo was hard and that it involved a lot of work, but we always had a good time going to our site because they were always pleased to see us and even the children we taught English to, enjoyed the lessons and participated in class.

Another thing that we have learned is how to how to do team work. This is not always easy, especially when having to make an important decision and not everyone agrees. Of course, we did not always agree and had to discus something for a long time until we thought of the best solution possible, but we never had a serious problem and we were always capable of putting away our differences and working equally, as a team.

In the end, when CoFo was finally over, we were happy (because it is a lot of stress) but on the other hand we were also sad we would not visit the site as frequently as before, but we will continue to go as the headmaster was very pleased with our help and invited us to a party in June, to celebrate when the Hogar was founded.
