Jaime de la Cruz, the current president of the site, said that our project was like a new branch in these children’s lives. He said that him and the volunteers were eager to help this project grow by implementing it on other schools that work with children with Down syndrome. Our project impacted the site because it provided the children with a new way of learning better and it gave them an advantage to be included in society in the future when they’re older.  A ceremony was held before the inauguration were Jaime talked about Down syndrome and Rodolfo talked about our project and how thankful he was. We received letters of recognition and various parents came over to thank us and asked us to take pictures with their kids.  We then cut the ribbon and we interacted with the children when they used the computers by teaching them how to use the games of EduBuntu.
