Our first idea was to do a small recreative center in the orphanage. It was going to be a small farm with ducks, guinea pigs and pigs were the children could learn to take care of them. They would gain a profit from the products of the animals by selling them in the town. When we went there for the first time, we noticed it wasn’t really of their most interest and utility. They already had a few animals anyway. Our next idea was to build a small therapy room where the children could receive their therapies. This was not only our goal, but had always been Chiara’s and Rosanna’s dream. We knew this was going to be very difficult, we were very concerned on the cost and the sustainability of the project. With our new center, professionals will come to the house instead of exhausting the children with the long journey to La Molina.  ARIE will help to choose the adequate staff.  We are also helping the children by playing with them, and giving them affection and the love they lack. With all this, they will become healthy kids and prominent citizens for the future.
