We did many important things in the stage of Design/Plan. First of all, we started to e-mail our official Dennis to narrow our ideas to help. We ended up with about five or more ideas. To accomplish our first goal, volunteering we proposed ourselves to spend at least twenty hours in our site volunteering. The following week was our first trip to Villa El Salvador. Our second goal was to play after school programs with the kids to have fun and keep their minds busy in kids stuff not adult decisions, which they had to do sometimes; we played soccer almost everyday for an hour and a half and sometimes more, we also played volleyball, which the girls loved. We decided to do a books and clothes drive so that we could donate clothing and books to the kids in Bruce Peru. This was only an idea and at first we were not to sure if this drive was going to work so we started to think that maybe we should prize the donators with a brownie, out-of-uniform pass or other things. After deciding to start this drive, we thought that maybe we could get more books from other places. We determined to also try to get some more books from the Banco Continental so we made an appointment with Carlo Reyes, the communication manager of the bank. The last really important goal was the hygiene kits. These kits would contain the necessary utensils to keep a clean and healthy lifestyle. Dennis told us many bad things about they hygiene, probably, they don’t even know how to wash their teeth or hands. We also had some more ideas but these four were the most important ideas.
