We, CoFo group #16 decided to go and help the fire station in order to improve the community we all live in. Our first Wednesday was an interview with the commander of the Fire Station, Rene Norriega. We told him about our project and what we need to do for our project in order to improve the community. After we talked to him about our project he started telling us about the fire station and their necessities and what they really need in order to improve their fire station. He told us that is main concern was the truck that they need to transport from the United States. After the interview with Rene, we came up with a solution statement that will follow us during our project. Our solution statement was to inspire, educated, and empower people to join and learn about the importance of the fire station. We researched about the fire station of the United States and what they do in order to know and learn the number 911 which helped is in getting some good ways of helping the community because we needed ideas in order to make up our solution statement. In conclusion, we gathered enough information to finish our investigation part and go to the next step which was plan/design.
