The CoFo project has been an overwhelming experience for our group. In the design cycle this was the stage in which we thought about our achievements, our strengths and weaknesses. We learned all about construction: how to make a roof, add a carpet, sand the walls and paint the walls. We also learned how to deal with time management, and not to procrastinate. We learned how to interact with children from ages 4-5, and how to communicate with them easily. One of the things we realized when interacting with them was that young children like to have a lot of attention at this stage. Most importantly we learned how to work as a team, that we all depend on each other and must have trust. This way we can solve all our problems. During each part of the design cycle some team members worked more than others but at the end everyone helped equally. We are delighted about all the accomplishments we made and how we were able to reach our final goal, which was to make a stimulation room in the Day Care Santa Clara so the babies can have a healthy beginning in their lives. We are happy that we had the chance to help finish this room and we learned how to make this world a better place. This group has shared wonderful moments that none of us will ever forget. |
