During CoFo we learned many different things. We learned how to identify the specific needs of a poor community. We also learned how to work as a group. When we started this project, we never expected things to go wrong. We thought that we would not have arguments with group members because we were friends, but in the end we had many problems to resolve, mainly over who did more work and who was the leader. We learned how to resolve these issues with the help of our advisor or just between group members. Although we had problems in the process, we enjoyed our time together and we enjoyed the fact that we were helping our community. We learned that communication is really important, because without it, you can’t make decision properly. While constructing the daycare, we helped with the education of young children in the area. Now, these kids will have a safe place to play, and a classroom in which to be educated. We reached our goal of building a small daycare but we didn’t reach our goals of getting it organized and started before our final presentation. |
