It felt great to be able to accomplish our goals of helping out the fire station in La Molina with much-needed supplies, as well as raising fire safety awareness in the community. We worked hard throughout this period of time to create a sustainable solution and help the community in a positive way.  Throughout this project, we had good moments when we worked well as a team, and difficult moments, when everyone seemed to have different opinions of what we were supposed to do.  These disagreements just made us lose time.  We eventually learned how to work as a team and to be patient in difficult moments.  It was also important to listen to other people’s opinions so that we could see things from a different point of view.  This was sufficient to create a well-structured project to be able to live and work in a safer community.  Captain David Palomino was amazed by the great success of our efforts to help our society, and our sizeable contribution to the fire station.  Finally, we can say that we feel proud of the donation we gave the fire station, so that they can work with better materials in order to provide a superior service to the community.
