Follow-up Interview and Action Plan Proposal

After completing the needs assessment and research, your group should begin brainstorming some possible solutions for the identified needs. The solution you propose should display a great deal of invested thought and should be presented to your supervisor and site official. Finally, your proposal should be documented and presented in a professional manner.

Note: Remember this is a proposal and you are participating in a problem solving activity. Your initial proposal may not be accepted or prove to be ineffective. In these meetings you should write a Solution Statement . This Solution Statement is a goal statement (like a thesis statement in an essay), and it should be what your group is trying to accomplish. It should be S pecific, M easurable, A ttainable, w R itten, and on a T imetale ( SMART goal). Be prepared to make adjustments to your proposal, therefore resulting in your Action Plan . This is a collaborative process amongst the peers in your group, officials at the community site, and other members in your community, because your plan has to be the best possible course of action for all parties involved.
