All About me My name is Lupita. I’m in Kindergarten. I am five years old. I like to watch PBS Kids on T.V. My favorite show is Arthur. I like when it was snowing on Arthur. I have glasses. They make me see better. I love spaghetti with cheese. I speak Spanish at home and English at school.	Me!		School and Community The bus takes me home from school. Some parents take their kids home from school. I am in kindergarten. I get to play outside when it is recess. My day starts with recess. We have snack and then play and then when recess is over the teachers blow the whistle and we freeze. Sometimes we sit down at the color carpet in my room. We sit down “criss-cross apple sauce”. We listen to the teacher and she reads us a story. We sing some songs. We do centers; we listen at the listening center. I like school because after school we get a stamp and a butterfly sticker. My favorite thing about school is the teachers. My school looks white and brown. My playground is yellow. Sometimes my friends and I pretend to be big black monkeys and take pretend pictures of each other.
