All About me
My name is Macy Anne McGuire. The color blue is my favorite color in the rainbow. My favorite animal is a horse. I like horses because they are very majestic when they run. Sometimes cartoons will have a blue horse, or a Pegasus.
My Girl Scout troop is one of my favorite activities. I get to see my friends. We do a lot of things with my Girl Scout troop, such as: camping, learning about science, and horseback riding.
I like to go to church because we learn about Jesus. We sing a lot of songs during worship. I am in a dance troop at my church. I got a speaking part in our Christmas play this year. I play “Harpo”, an angel. My sister, Katy is playing Mary.
My Papa is the Pastor and my dad is the Youth Pastor. My Mom sings and leads the worship services.
My family is very important to me. They spend a lot of time with me and we go on trips together. I have a lot of fun with them.
I love my dog, Vista. He is a black Labrador. He is very special to me. He keeps me company when my friends are not around.

School and Community
I go to Imperial Elementary School in Anaheim. My school hold Kindergarteners to 6th graders. I’m in fifth grade. My teacher is Ms. Ruiz. We learn many subjects in school. We learn Social Studies, science, spelling, reading/language, and history. I love my school.
I came to my school because it was my Mom’s first year at Imperial. I didn’t like transferring schools but I gave it a try and it was worth it because I made new friends. Many of them are in this project. Two more years and I will get to see my old friends.
My school has many things to do during recess. Some of them include tag, handball, playing on the jungle gym, and gymnastics. At recess I like to play handball. It’s a very challenging game. “Slice’s” are the hardest thing to do. It is when you hit the ball close to the wall and it barely hits the wall. Wesley and Albert hold the school record in handball. They are very hard to beat. I consider myself in the middle of the “hardness scale.” I’m not the best, but I’m not the worst.
 
 
 

I have a big back yard connected to a small house. We have one acre of land with horse corrals, a pool, and lots of places to explore.
There are many fast food restaurants around my house. My favorite place at my house is my tree in “Turtle Town.” “Turtle Town” was built by the previous owners of the house—they raised turtles.
My favorite restaurant is Don Jose’s. They serve Mexican food.
We live in this community because when I was in Kindergarten my friend invited me to her home. She lives across the street from me. They told us that the house across the street was for sale, so we checked it out and bought it. One of my good friends is moving within 100 yeards of my house. They did a lot of work on their house. It’s beautiful.
My Nana and Papa live not too far away. I spend a lot of time with them. We like to watch TV and go to breakfast on Saturdays. My favorite cartoon to watch at their house is Sponge Bob, Square Pants.
