Diet: It its small mammals. The biggest mammal it eats are the sloths. They also eat iguanas. But there head is mainly in sloths.
 

Predators: The jaguars are there predators as well as the anacondas. Apart from that Humans.

Adaptations: They have to adapt to the canopies temperature. They also need to adapt to flying fast through an area of abundant trees.

Interesting Facts: The Harpy eagle is the most powerful bird of prey. Its size is nothing compared to their strength. They use their talons to trap their prey,break their bones and cause an instant death. They were named after the man that was half-bird, half-human of the Greek mythology. Despite its great strength and reputation, as "the ruler of the forest",the harpy eagle has become one of the most critically endangered animals in Latin America. Its number has declined with the vanishing forests. Its very important they live, because no matter what, they have their rights.
