Spanish Name: Loro

Size: 10 ~ 15 inches long

Life span: about 80 years

Diet: Fruits, nuts, flowers, seeds
 

Predators: Snakes, Humans
 

Adaptations:  Parrots adapt to the jungle by sitting on the treetops, where they can very easily find their food, which are moslty fruits.
 

Interesting Facts:  Parrots can be found all over the world, from the Amazon, to Asia, to Africa, to Australia and the Pacific Islands.  Parrots played an important role in WWI.  They could hear enemy planes and warn the humas before they heard them.  Their are 16 species of parrots.  Parrots can also be trained to talk.
