Diet:

Small fish, insects, grasshoppers, beetles, and small reptiles.  
 

Predators: humans, snakes
 

Adaptations: They have long beaks to catch fish under water and to catch small insects on dry land. Short tails so when they go under water it wont produce "drag" and turn better.
 

Interesting Facts: They have long bills, short tails, brilliant plumage, there are over 80 species of kingfishers living in many places of the entire world, when they go fishing, they dive in the water and fish the fish out with their long beaks.When the kingfishers nest their eggs, they nest a distance from water, because they are afraid that something will eat them.
