Size:  2 meters in diameter, stem can reach up to 6 meters.

Diet:   They take in water and use photosynthesis.
 

Predators:  fish and wildlife.
 

Adaptations:
  • The Giant Water Lilies are very large so they can soke in lots of sunlight. 
  •  Also they have thorns so that their predetors wouldn't eat them. 
  •  They have roots but they are not in the soil and it lets them float around.
 

Interesting Facts:

  • The water lily is a huge floating plant that floats above the water. 
  • Usually the lily has white female flowers and also pink male flowers.
  •   The flowers are the size of soccer balls.
  • The plants come from seeds that come from water that rises 10 cm. a day.  
  • Soon it will produce 5-10 leaves a month.
  •   The giant lilies provide food for fish and wildlife.
  • The pollinators  are large scarab beatles.
  • Seeds form it takes a year to germinate.
