Scientific Name: Inia Geoffrensis

Sapnish Name: Delfin Gris

Size: 7.5-9 feet

Life Span: 20-30 years



Diet: 
Gray dolphins eat a great variety of fish which includes: sardines, mullets, pleagic fish, makerel, herring, cod, squids, sardines, cuttlefish and shrimps.
 

Predators: 
Large sharks such as tiger sharks, dusky sharks or bull sharks,almost all sharks are predators for the dolphin, but if there is a case were the male dolphins wins a fight with the sharks, they get to eat them.

Reproduction:
 Pregnancy lasts 11 months and produces a single calf.

Adaptations: 
They can see better in the ocean and when they are in the rivers.  

Interesting Facts:

  •  The acuatic mammals are known by their inteligense. 
  • Those can travel hundreds of miles in 1 day or 2.  
  • They loose its teeth each time they eats a fish.  
  • When the male is hungry, it kills his wife and babies to get food
