The Green Tree Frog is an amazing animal in the Amazon Rainforest. This animal is known because of where it is sometimes found, in toilets, sewage and other cool damp places. It is also found in arid places. This great amphibian scientific name is Litoria Caerulea. When ever you see the Green Tree Frog climbing with its long legs you want to know more about them.

The Green Tree Frog has an amazing and interesting description. This amphibian, unlike the other frogs moves by walking instead of jumping. Even though the Green Tree Frog's skin does not help this amphibian, his skin has an incredible appearance. It is light green on the back and white in the front. They have smooth skin. Males have a size of 66-77mm and Females have a size of 70-110mm. Even though the Green Tree Frog is very common in the rainforest, it may become extinct.
                                                                            

The Green Tree Frog is not yet endangered, but it soon will become endangered. This amphibian is very sensitive to the environment changes, air pollution, water pollution, deforestation and global warming. This amazing frog protects it shelf from other predators by climbing smooth surfaces. This amphibian's enemies are human destruction and a fungus that affects their skin. This animal has adapted over time by adapting to the environment even though it still affects the animal's way of life. This animal has also adapted over ti  me thanks to the mother's role in reproduction.

The Green Tree Frog has an amazing way of reproducing. This amphibian breeds during the summer and wet seasons, it requires any kind of water during pregnancy. Eggs are laid in clumps of between 200 and 2,000. A frog is a tadpole when it is a baby until it is 10cm. Eggs have to be deposited in still water. Tadpoles complete development in 6 weeks. The mother lays her eggs in still water in order to be able to protect its young. The Green Tree Frog eats mice in captivity.

The Green Tree Frog has a very simple diet. This amphibian eats all kind of insects, even spiders. This frog also eats lizards and mice in captivity. The Green Tree Frog is a special and incredible frog.

Finally, we can see how different from other animals and extraordinary the Green Tree Frog is. This amphibian is one of the most common frogs in the world. Even though it is a common and amazing frog, it could become extinct, mostly because of a fungus that affects their skin and other great changes in the environment. That is why we still have a lot to learn about the Green Tree frog and especially a cure for that fungus that could en with this awesome frog.
