Adaptations:

-They have a prehensile tail to support the body in the trees
- They can camouflage their coloration to mimic sun-dappled branches
- The tree boa has special jaw structure allows snake to swallow prey larger than its mouth heat sensors under the lip help find warm blooded prey.
- They have a clear scale that covers their eye to show as if it would be awake at all times
-They are adapted to the heat of the jungle, so they can stay on the sun for hours.

Interesting Facts:

-Natural History: snakes appeared on earth 120 million years ago. The census of snakes is about 2600 species.
-Gestation: about 4 months
-Litter 10 to 40 babies
-Sexual maturity: 3-4 years old.
-They are  born orange-red with white bars, and their colors gradually change as they grow.
-They are specialized in hunting birds  and live most of their lives on the trees.
- On the day the tree boas will main ly perch on emerald trees, but in the night they will come out to hunt.
