Size:  5 ft long

Life span: 7 fish years

Predators: Caimen and their enemies are FISHERMEN.
 

Adaptations: It has adapted to survive like many other fish and his advantage is that they have long barbels and the barbels starts shaking and that is how they found its prey.
 

Interesting Facts:  In the Rainforest theey are called Pirara.
 They have a unique color, really rare that many peeople like.   Scientific say that the biggest one found has been 9 ft long and it has a weight of 450 pounds, scinetifics added that there were over 1000 species  of catfish.  Sometimes there is a flood in the rainforest and the catfish starts swimming next to the trees.
