Size: Length: 2 inches approximately

Life span: Not investigated 

Diet: Mainly insects
 

Predators: Humans, acid rain, and a methoid in farming called slash and burn.

Adaptations: It doesn't have any animal predators because of its sharp claws under it's front paws. 
 

Interesting Facts: The last one to be sited was in 1989 in Costa Rica. They think that the Golden Toad is extinct. Males are bright golden orange. They are active in the day time (diurnal). This toad is considered to be one of the most spectacular colored toads on the earth. Females look nothing like the males and they have a sort of mud splash on their back.
