was in 1989 in Costa Rica. They think that the Golden Toad is extinct.
Males are bright golden orange. They are active in the day time (diurnal).
This toad is considered to be one of the most spectacular colored toads
on the earth. Females look nothing like the males and they have a sort
of mud splash on their back.
