Size: 35 inches long  

Life span: Up to 85 years

Diet: The Scarlet Macaws like to eat palm nuts and red clay from river banks. If the macaw is in captivity (kept as a pet), they'll eat papaya and bannana

Predators: The predators are basicly the humans becouse they cut down the trees where they live and keep the macaws as pets.Some other predators are monkeys, toucans, snakes, and other large mammals

Adaptations:Macaws live on tree leaves at the very top. The female macaws lay 2 eggs at a time.  The baby macaws stay with their parents for two years. The birds have curved beaks so they can eat seeds. Their feet are zygodactylous so they can climb trees. 
 

Interesting Facts: Macaws can fly 35 miles per hour
                            Macaws are an endangered specie
                            There are 7 types of macaws in the world.
