Diet: The
toucan's diet consists of fruits, bird eggs, insects, and tree frogs.
Predators: The predators of the toucan
are raptors (large birds of prey) and men.
Adaptations: Toucans have three adaptations
that help them survive. The first one is that they have bills in
order to eat food. The second one is the feathers it has to protect
their body. The last one is that it's wings help them fly away from
predators.
Interesting Facts: Toucans live in
the rainforests of Central and South America. Scientists haven't
figured out why the bills of the toucan are so big. There are 37
different species of toucans. They toucans live in small communities.
Toucans are frugivors (animals that eat fruits). Toucans are very
noisy. They sleep in holes that are in trees. If they don't
fit, they turn themeselves into a feathery ball to make their body smaller.
