Spanish Name:Jaguarundi

Size: The Jaguar is up to 8 feet long,including its tail, and can weight as much as 300 lbs(140 kg).

Life span: 15 years

Diet: The diet of the jaguar consists of lamb reptiles, fish, tapir, deer, and large rodents.This cat hunts mostly during the day. 
 

Predators: The most dangerous predators of the jaguars are humans.  Jaguars are used for skin trade and now they are very rare in many areas.

Adaptations:  Its coat blends perfectly with the light  of the forest.  The jaguar is an animal that like sto be alone.  Jaguars are excelllent swimmers and can be found near rivers.
 

Interesting Facts: The Jaguar is the largest species in the cat  family. Despite its heavy build, the jaguars movement are rapid and agile, and it is an excellent climber.  It captures fish by dangling its tail in the water.  its doesnt attack people.  Tthe name Jaguarundi means "weasel cat''
