Sixth Grade is a transition year for students at FDR. No longer are they able to rely on Elementary School teachers to ensure homework is taken home and assignments are complete. In 6th Grade, students are required to keep their lockers clean, move from class to class on their own, be responsible, organized, and complete assignments when due. Sixth Grade teachers assist students with this transition thus ensuring social and academic success in the Middle School.
