Not many of the students wanted to write today so I will fill you in on the day. Mr. Hoiseth The highlight today for me was our very moving trip to the orphanage. We gave the kids their the gift boxes and it was very moving to see how appreciative they were. We have so much and these kids have so little. My little girl wouldn’t open any of her toys, she took everything out twice and packed it all back up, while sitting right on my lap. It brought tears to my eyes.
Tomorrow we come back to Lima. I know that our students have learned much about Peru; the Peru of yesterday and the Peru of today.
