ü Here are some great vacation reading ideas for Grade 1 and 2s!

ü Please remember these grade level distinctions are very general.

ü The best way to choose a book at your level is to use the FIVE FINGER TEST!

§ Pick a page in the book and read it aloud.

§ Hold up a finger each time you come to a word you don’t understand. If you have 4 or 5 fingers up at the end of the page, this book is likely too hard for you right now.

§ If you have no fingers up, this book may be too easy.
