In order to provide "teachable" lab space, in reponse to last year's Tech Survey and to meet a goal in the new Tech Plan, the lab has been divided by a wall to separate it into two classrooms. Each side has a ceiling-mounted digital projector and whiteboard.
Equipment
The 30 new Dell computers ordered for this year have arrived, been unpacked and re-imaged. 16 have been assigned to teachers, and the other 14 to the HS Tech Lab.
The order for peripherals is in. Our 1st priority is to acquire enough digital projectors so that each teacher will have one. For this year the budget will support ordering 14. Next year will we order enough so there will be one for each high school teacher.
The new projectors will be ceiling-mounted in classrooms, rather than being cart-mounted.
