SPANISH
Language
is needed to give and receive information; to acquire, increase
and share our knowledge; to think and integrate ourselves better
with other human beings by communicating our interests, needs, experiences,
judgments and feelings.
Language is needed as a means to improve our sensibility and to
awaken our imagination.
Language is the basic mean by which our society will progress in
every scientific, technological and human endeavor.During their
high school years, students go through a very critical stage in
their lives. Improvement of their language helps them to integrate
better among themselves in our society.
Literature courses strive to develop skills in oral and written
expressions for our students. These courses also develop in them
proper attitude towards literature and the acquisition of personal
values.Language and literature courses are structured in such a
way that they fill all requirements of the students' needs. In order
to do this. Spanish includes areas of listening, speaking, reading,
analyzing and writing.
Students should take Spanish American Literature in order to graduate
under the Peruvian Program.
