HIGH SCHOOL CURRICULUM

The educational program at the high school level (Grades 9-12) is that of a quality college preparatory program in the United States. Emphasis is on preparation for admission into colleges and universities in the United States, Perú, and other countries. Thus, Colegio Roosevelt is best suited to students with serious scholastic interests and abilities.

Curricular design and course format follow the model of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) thus meeting both United States and Peruvian standards. Students enroll in either the U.S. or Peruvian program to obtain a U.S. diploma and a Peruvian certificate. Peruvian program students obtain the U.S. diploma to best take advantage of the educational experience offered by the American School of Lima. (see Dual Certification). In grades 9 and 10, our courses are based upon the IBO Middle Years Program. In grades 11 and 12 most courses are based upon the IBO Diploma Program.

Please remember that it is your responsibility to know the graduation requirements for the program(s) in which your son/daughter is enrolled. // Por favor recuerden que es vuestra responsabilidad conocer los requisitos de graduación para el(los) programa(s) en el(los) que está inscrito(a) su hijo(a).
