The Student Body Government (SBG) is a student-run, teacher-sponsored, organization whose aim is to voice the opinions of the student body. Every school year, pupils of Roosevelt run for positions in this club and their peers vote for the best candidate. In an effort to provide better communication between the students and faculty, and to strive to better the overall quality of education, this webpage has been created. With the latter, students will know all the aspects concerning the sbg and if any concerns rise, please feel free to e-mail us. The purpose of the SBG is to maintain the rights and privileges made possible by previous Student Body Governments and to unite the Student Body as a cooperative and conscientious whole. The Senate consists of four delegates from each class, while the Cabinet is composed of five members chosen from different grades.

Last meeting Alexia talked about mattresses and their price, and Jean Michael about poofs, he said he would give more information this Monday. Juan Diego talked with Ms. Alba about the Nov. Party, we would wait for a decision for the party next meeting. Also, Francesco said he would write a letter to Mr. Chapman about the jerseys. Nicolas said that the date for the watermelon eating contest will be Friday 21, teachers would participate too. We talked about courses and scheduling. When the meeting was about to end, Denisse mentioned that some people wanted Rec Nights in High School, so she said she will make a survey. The last thing talked about was that Francesco volunteered to ask Mr. Bradley about costumes in Halloween and suggest an activity.
