FDR HOME

  • Our goal is to field competitive, well-coached teams in an atmosphere of respect and sportsmanship. At Roosevelt, we understand that excellent coaching is fundamental to building a successful athletic program. Our coaches have the expertise, and passion for helping young athletes maximize their potential. Roosevelt competes in the ADCA League (Asociacion Deportiva De Colegios Asociados) and with schools and clubs of similar size and philosophy in Lima.
  • Roosevelt also competes in International competitions like SCAC (Southern Cone Athletic Conference), that include the American Schools of Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, and Uruguay.
  • Competition allows our young athletes to test their skills against worthy opponents. These experiences teach valuable lessons in sportsmanship, goal setting, discipline, teamwork, self-confidence, and leadership. Interscholastic competition helps build school spirit and generates a sense of community.
  • Our facilities currently include a gymnasium, baseball field, soccer field, softball field, climbing wall, outdoor courts (basketball, tennis), and a 6-lane 400 meter track. All of which support a comprehensive athletic and Physical Education program.
