2007-2008
First Lego League (FLL)
Our team Kondortech finished in third place at the Peruvian First Lego League National Championship on Saturday, December 15th in the FDR Secondary gym. As a result, our team and their coach Ms Gaby Eyzaguirre earned the 3rd place Champion of Champions cup and a chance to travel to Tokyo, Japan for the Asia Open Championship in April 27-29, 2008.
2006-2007
Technology Student Association (TSA)
Six high school students (J.R. Giha, Enrico Medina, Alvaro Proaño, Diego Proaño, Andrés Velez, Nicholas Wiesner) attended the 29th Annual Technology Student Association National Conference in Nashville, Tennessee during the week of June 24, 2007, along with 4,900 participants from the United States and Germany.
There were 60 competitive events and FDR students competed in 9 of them. FDR students won 3rd place in the event Scientific and Technical Visualization.
First Lego League (FLL)
On December 16, two teams from Middle School coached by Ms. Gaby Eyzaguirre and one team from High School coached by Mr. Corum and Ms. Eyzaguirre participated in the first "First Lego League Competition" in Perú along with many other teams from schools around the country. The Kondortech team, made up of high school students, earned the 2nd place Champion of Champions cup and a chance to participate at the First Lego League European Open Championship.
