Authentication of Documents
The process for getting your Original Diploma authenticated according to
the standards required by the Peruvian government will take time and
we need to receive them no later than May 15, 2010, so please begin the process as soon as possible.
- Diplomas issued in the US :
The following are generic guidelines. Each state has its own variations, so the first thing you should do is contact the appropriate office in the state where your documents originates and ask them for the exact procedures and fees required for each type of document you need to authenticate.
1.- Request Original Diploma of your Bachelor or Master Degree to the corresponding University. When you make
your request clarify in the cover letter that you need this document
to be authenticated for use abroad, therefore it must have on it:
* Seal of the university.
* Signature of the Registrar, attesting the
validity of the document.
* Signature of a Notary Public attesting the validity of the Registrar's signature. It should include a legible imprint of the notary stamp with the
notary´s name, commission number and expiration date.
2.- Send the Diploma to the Secretary of State where the University is located for certification. This involves
having the Secretary of State sign the document and apply the State
Seal in order to validate the signature of the Notary Public.
Some universities includes the authentication request to
the Secretary of State as part of its authentication process. Please
ask your university if they can do this for you.
3.- Send the authenticated Diploma to the Peruvian Consulate in the
U.S. that has jurisdiction for the State. You can get good information

4.- Send a DHL with the authenticated Diploma to :

Please note that FDR will reimburse you all the expenses in which you
incurre to authenticate your Diploma (including the DHLs receipts),
so please keep all your receipts.
- Diplomas issued in Canada, France or Great Britain :
1.- Request Original Diploma of your Bachelor or Master Degree to the corresponding University. Because your Diploma originates in Canada, France or Great Britain, we can request the Canadian, France or Great Britain Consulate in Peru, to authenticate the document.
2.- Send a DHL with the Diploma to :
