You may be contacted through e-mail by departing teachers who have items to sell. This is usually a reliable, inexpensive and easy way to purchase used items. However, in the past there have been some misunderstandings because the items purchased were not what the buyer expected. Buying sight unseen or briefly seen does have its risks. Therefore, the school accepts no responsibility in these matters.

If you choose to buy items from a departing staff member, it is entirely between you and that individual. Furthermore, we recommend that you arrange for any items you purchase to be delivered to and stored by your Social Sponsor, who will keep them for you until your arrival in July.
