INTERESTS OF CHILDREN

Are
broken down into three domain categories:
1) Psychomotor : this domain is based on learning
physical skills. These skills are based upon, movement vocabulary,
movement of body parts, patterns of movement, moving with others,
and movement problem solving.
2) Cognitive: The focus of these areas are knowing
rules, health information, safety, and being able to apply such
knowledge, they should learn to analyze different activities.
3) Affective: Deals with feelings, attitudes, and
values. This domain changes more slowly than the other two. If
physical education is to have a lasting effect on students, it
is important that students have a positive set of values related
to this area.
