MUSICAL: THE WIZARD OF OZ

Congratulations to the cast of “The Wizard of Oz”, who performed for the entire Roosevelt Community last week! Their beautiful voices, along with the colorful costumes and outstanding performances left us all in a good note to end the year. They dedicated this year’s performance to Ms. Linda Paz Soldán for her many years of loving service at Roosevelt.

EC 4 STUDENTS CELEBRATE FATHER’S DAY:

THIRD GRADE ANNUAL MARKET PLACE: Thursday, June 19; 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. - Elementary School Alameda

Over the past month third grade students have been baking, cutting, gluing, threading and creating original craft to sell at our annual market as a part of our economics unit.

Earnings from Market Place will be donated to the 3rd grade community service project, Nido Matazango. In past years Nido Los Geranios in Comas has used this money for additional classrooms and a security wall.

Come snack on brownies, sushi, and other delicious baked goods. Shop for jewelry, paperweights, bookmarks, and other handmade crafts.
