LUNCHES WITH NEW STUDENTS:

Last week all new students were invited to have lunch with the principals, PYP coordinator and counselors. These lunches near the Turtle Pond were intended to get to know the students better and have feedback from them about their adjustment to Roosevelt. A special thank you goes out to many of our students who have been “Buddies” for the new students, showing them the campus, and being caring friends.

ENJOY YOUR BREAK!

We hope all our students and their families enjoy the long weekend! It’s a great time to be with family and read a good book (or two or three). If you’re heading to the beach, please remember your hats and sunscreen. See you Monday!

SPOTLIGHT ON LEARNING:

All of our third graders invited their parents to school Friday morning for “Reading and Treats”. Students had fun reading some of their favorite books with their parents, and everyone enjoyed the treats afterward. What a great way to start the day!
