Word Wall WordsStudents are responsible for learning 5 new words each week. By Friday, they need to be able to read, write and use each of these words correctly in a sentence. The Word Wall Words are the ONLY words first graders are required to spell correctly. Please allow your children to invent their own spelling and make mistakes. This allows them to take risks and encourages them to be writers.
